MY EXPERIENCE IN THE STORYTELLING FESTIVAL

Imagen
First, I would like to start telling you that at the beginning it was difficult for my group to choose what story to use for the storytelling festival. Nevertheless, after reflecting a little bit the decision was “the masque of the red death” of Edgard Allan Poe. Being honest as a group we had a little shame since we had to dress like the characters of this story, but an important fact is that in this story appeared a masque dance and we thought before representing the story that we wouldn’t show a lot our visages. Then, that could be one of the reasons why we chose this story.     Second, I have to say that it wasn’t easy neither for me nor my group given that as you know we needed clothing and objects so as to dress up alike the characters of the stunning story of Mr. Poe. In addition, it was complicated the materials to recreate the scenario. In my personal case I wanted to use a special hat that I couldn’t find anywhere, so I send it to make it. I bought a smoking since ...

MY EXPERIENCE WRITING THE ORIGINAL SHORT STORY “MISFORTUNE”

Imagen
First, I would like to tell you that it was difficult at the beginning for my group to choose about what to write the original short story because there were many interesting topics or genders so as to write, but we decided to write about something fictional that would be creepy or scary. Then, we let our mind fly and we thought that it would be good to create a story regarding poorness, climatic phenomenon’s, witches, demons, and a single protagonist that lived in a villa ( in this case Villa Fortuna) very affected caused by the situations described before. Second, in a moment we doubted if write only about a single protagonist or not, but we did it with only one protagonist given that we wanted to maintain our audience focus on the experiences of Antoine, who was someone who had a hard life and it was able to sell his own soul to the devil in order to see dead all the guilty that killed his mother unjustly. Third, so as to provide a scarier environment related to the house of the...

BITCOIN AS THE SECOND LEGAL CURRENCY IN EL SALVADOR

Imagen
On this occasion, dear readers, I bring you a topic that arouses much controversy in Salvadoran society and in the entire world and has to do with the decision of the Salvadoran state to make bitcoin legal tender in the country along with the dollar.  First, it must be said that at the proposal of the Executive, the Legislative Assembly decided on June 8, 2021, to make El Salvador the first country in the world to make bitcoin legal tender, stating intensely that bitcoin would attract a lot of foreign investment to the country and that in turn the compatriots who send remittances from abroad could send them to El Salvador without the need to pay commissions or fees for these transfers. Second, it is important to mention that the Salvadoran population took it with skepticism since it was something unknown to the vast majority. However, the great government advertising campaign was very large in order to convince the population to pay using bitcoins, even creating a government ap...

TEACHINGS FOR LIFE FROM SAINT SEIYA “THE LOST CANVAS”. In this opportunity I want to share with you dear readers the teachings that the Saint Seiya anime "The Lost Canvas" left me as teachings for my life and how to improve in many aspects related to it. So come with me and let's find out together what they are. First, I learned from the Capricorn golden knight unwavering determination and perfection in his skills since his power is based on the sharp sword Excalibur and the knight claims that this sword must be sharpened as much as his heart and soul allows. This is something I have taken for me as I am always looking to know more and improve my languages as best as possible.   Second, I learned from Pegasus the bronze knight his willpower to achieve levels considered impossible for his low status as a bronze knight. In addition, never giving up no matter what difficulty or problem is faced is something extraordinary since as human beings we usually give up quick...

WHY EL SALVADOR IS NOT A DEVELOPED COUNTRY?

Imagen
Today I want to share with you some reasons why I consider that our country is not developed, but also some recommendations that could help us to become a developed country in the future. First, it is necessary to mention that during many years in El Salvador has existed an unequal distribution of the wealth that sparked a civil war that lasted 12 years and destroyed the little infrastructure that the country had in that moment. Second, it is important to say that after signing the peace accords, many governments came from different political parties and neither invested in good infrastructure nor stop the formation of gang groups. Third, although currently public investment in education has improved, there are still infrastructure problems not only in public schools but also at UES. Moreover, the contents that students learn in school and at UES are far behind and as long as the situation does not change, the country will not become a developed one. Finally, some recommendations ...

Imagen
Today I want to tell you about the great transformation of my city of Zaragoza and I invite you to visit the city and discover it by yourself. Firstable, I want to let you know that many different mayors have passed in my city during the last 15 years and honestly I was really dissapointed since everything was bad in my city and I wondered when the situation would chance. Then, with the arrival of the current mayor Cesar Godoy not only me but also the Zaragoza's cityzens have seen the changes  in the city. For example, many streets were completely destroyed and right now many of them have been repaired and there are others that really soon will be repaired. In addition, the city looks very well organized when it comes to the traffic thanks to city hall transit managers that are really useful preventing traffic jams. On the other hand, the security has improved due to the new major has created CAMZ Zaragoza that is in fact very well equipped with cars and motorcycles. Finally,...

MY EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING THE SOCIAL SERVICE First, I want to say that I didn’t make a great effort looking for opportunities in which I could develop my social service. As a result, I looked for just 2 options that were either to teach English in a school or in the City Hall of my community. At the very beginning, it wasn’t easy to decide, but I guess I made the best decision that was to teach in a school that is to 15 minutes from my house.  Second, I have to admit I never have wanted to become a teacher when it comes to the professional environment. Nevertheless, when it comes to social service there are not many options apart than teach, so I started teaching English in “Centro Escolar  José María Cáceres” in March and I was hoping to make it just in 6 months and I wasn’t expecting how it would finish at the end. Third, my experience at the very beginning was awful given that I hadn’t experienced not only teaching, but also treating with people of different age...
