SUFFERING AND REVIVAL OF  FC BARCELONA. 

FCB or Football Club Barcelona during many years was considered by many people like the best team in the world because had dominated the world soccer almost perfectly even though obtaining a “sextet” that is considered as the highest succeed than a club can achieve.  

Barcelona won its last UCL in 2015, specifically defeating Juventus de Turin (Italy) 3-1. It is necessary to mention that in that moment Barcelona had the best attack in the world. An attack composed by Lionel Messi (Argentina), Luis Suarez (Uruguay) and Neymar Jr (Brazil).  Those strikers hidden with goals the great crisis that the club suffered.  

The awful crisis started next year (season 2016-2017) when Barcelona arrived until the semifinal being defeated by Juventus (3-0) in the first game and with a second game that finished (0-0). In that season Juventus shown was able to compete against Barcelona at the same level, but also the capacity to defeat and advance to the final. Nevertheless, it was Real Madrid the winner of the competition that year.

In addition, season 2017-2018 arrived and as if were a nightmare Barcelona was eliminated by another Italian club. In this opportunity Barcelona played against Roma, a club that I considered very weak, and I thought that Barcelona wouldn’t have any problem eliminating this team, and in the first game the logical gave me the reason when Barcelona defeated 3-1 Roma in its stadium. However, the saddest moment for Barcelona was when they lost the second game surprisingly (3-0).  

Then, in season 2018-2019 Barcelona arrived until semifinal since it was eliminated by Liverpool (England) in an amazing semifinal of the UEFA Champions league in which Barcelona started the first game in its stadium (Camp Nou) with a great Messi winning 3-0. However, when the second game arrived Liverpool impressively defeated Barcelona 4-0 giving them a terrible hit and another disappointment. Moreover, when it comes to season 2019-2020 Barcelona suffered the greatest humiliation in its history losing 2-8 against Bayern Munich (Germany). More recently, in season 2021-2022 PSG (France) was the club that eliminated Barcelona again. As you can see Barcelona has failed season after season since 2015.

Finally, there is a great hope in the current season 2022-2023 in which Xavi Hernandez (Barcelona’s legend) is the technical director of Barcelona. Besides, the great signings they have done like Lewandoski or Raphihna has provoked the feeling that Barcelona can come back to the elite becoming again the best soccer team in the world winning another UCL.
